Pablo Garrigós Ibáñez, Jijona nougat ambassador at FITUR 2018

Pablo Garrigós Ibáñez has had the honor to represent the nougat sector of the Valencian Community in this year's edition of FITURThe International Tourism Fair that welcomes more and more visitors in Ifema, Madrid. Pablo Garrigós Ibáñez nougats are essentially composed of almonds Marcona and Comuna types, cultivated in the Mediterranean basin, and the honey is obtained from honeycombs in the Valencian community, as they are mainly from orange blossom and rosemary, two flavors that give our nougats one of their distinctive touches.

Pablo defended during his speech the values of nougat as a good accompaniment to the highest gastronomy, as it is a natural ingredient that combines perfectly, not only as a dessert in sweet dishes, but also with meat, fish, pasta, rice, foie gras, cheese, cold meats and salads. He also encouraged restaurants to close their menus with a bit of nougat, as happens in other European cities where they make typical products, such as chocolate.
