In just a few months we will be jumping right into a new production season of nougatThe almonds that are now growing on the trees are used precisely for this purpose. It is nature's way of closing the circle of life.
Observing the numerous almond blossom trees that we find at every step near our production center in Jijona, we understand why our town is considered the "sweetest place in the world".
Despite the fact that the tradition of making handmade nougat dates back more than 5 centuries, the routine is the same every year. It repeats the magic and spring is only the beginning of that alchemy that makes it possible for us to enjoy one of the most delicious and healthy products of the Mediterranean diet: nougat.
