Ingredients for the nougat ice cream
This is all you need for the recipe. As you will see, there are very few ingredients that are easy to buy in any store:
- 650 gr. whole milk
- 80 gr. orange blossom honey
- 70 gr. panela
- 200 gr. of Jijona nougat by Pablo Garrigós Ibáñez
Step by step recipe
Once you have everything you need on the kitchen table, it's time to get down to work:
- Add the milk and orange blossom honey to a saucepan.
- Adds panela, which is healthier than sugar and provides a more toasted flavor.
- With a blender, mix the ingredients while giving the saucepan a point of heat.
- Once the mixture is integrated, introduce the nougat little by little while whisking.
- After reaching a temperature close to boiling point, let it stand until it has cooled down.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about eight hours.
